Understanding Cluster Growth Potential. Part 2: Case Studies

Summary

This second part of the Place-Based Innovation report contains detailed reports of the nine case studies and is a companion to the Part 1 report, which provides a synthesis of key lessons and themes from this research. The findings result from applying the framework introduced in the Understanding Cluster Growth Potential project (Nelles et al. 2022) in interviews with between 5-10 stakeholders in each case as well as secondary sources where they were available. The methodology for case selection and workflow are described in detail in the Part I report. The framework used and the interpretive guidelines that structured how researchers organised and synthesised interview data are reproduced as appendices to this report.
